The past four months have been a busy whirlwind of papers, exams and political work, so while I have been writing, there's not been much to show for it. I'm continuing to slowly work away at several pieces about my time in Korea, and I was privileged enough to be one of 91 entries into the University of Alberta's 2008 Mactaggart Writing Contest. Unfortunately, my piece wasn't selected as the winner, but I'm proud of it all the same.

I've updated the writing section to reflect the pieces from this past term, including my Mactaggart entry, which is titled 'Mourning A Stranger'. As always, I invite you to have a read and send any comments (good or bad) my way.

That's about it, I believe. Have a Merry Christmas, and I'll see you in 2009.

Welcome to reminisce, my online writing portfolio. It is an ongoing collection of academic and non-academic pieces, spanning seven years of adolescence into adulthood. While not a complete collection of my work, reminisce is intended as a glimpse into the world of a curly-haired, tattooed political science major who hasn't always choosen the road most traveled.
