Kaitlyn Young is a third-year university student currently residing in Edmonton, Alberta. When not buried beneath mountains of political science texts, she finds time to put pen to paper for non-academic purposes. Several of her pieces have won acclaim in the annual Alberta Teachers Association student publication. Her inspiration is found in hopeless romance, life lessons, and those day to day moments that stick. Most recently, a summer spent wandering the streets of Seoul, South Korea has provided inspiration for a forthcoming anthology of short pieces. In the snippets of free time that somehow stumble upon her, Kaitlyn can be found snowboarding, cheering on her beloved Oilers hockey team, singing off-key with the radio, or planning her next tattoo and piercing.
